Aren't you very busy these days?
Yes, that's true. We've been preparing for award ceremonies, practicing our stages... We're busy with our schedules while earnestly living each and every day.

Chaeyeon is known as 'The Master of The Stage'. You seem regretful that you weren't able to enjoy every moment on stage to the fullest due to circumstances which didn't allow you to perform properly.
After all, there is a big difference when there is the presence of an audience versus when there isn't. I miss our fans, and I'm also worried if I'll get used to this situation of fans being absent from our stages. I hope that the world gets healthier and I can show off my enthusiasm to my heart's content.

Nevertheless, what is the source of motivation for Chaeyeon to gain the courage forward from the practice room to the stage?
I think that I've been gaining that kind of energy from myself these days. To be frank, even if there's someone by your side telling you to go, you wouldn't be able to step out if you don't have the will to do so. There are things that I can do only when I'm determined to. If there are things I need to do, I'll believe in myself while carrying the sense of responsibility, and progress forward.

You are said to be IZ*ONE's 'Working Mom'. Cooking for your members, looking out carefully for them aren't easy tasks. What made you do it?
Well, during our early debut days, it was a period where the Korean and Japanese members are lacking in each other's language skills, so I voluntarily became their bridge. As I become their part of communication, there are many things I come to look after meticulously. Actually, their language skills have improved now, and they communicate so well that there isn't a need for me to translate everything. We all take care of each other very well now.

What is something, with a new colour of your own, that you wish to show through the promotions of <One-reeler / Act IV>?
It's 'Red-brown'. Red holds the meaning of enthusiasm and passion, and it also exudes a powerful and strong feeling. I believe that I've shown a great part of that side. But my hair colour for this album is actually 'Red-brown', so a 'Brown'-like dim and sentimental mood is added on. I want to fully capture the passionate and powerful, yet sultry feeling of 'Red-brown'.

With the latest version, what is a compliment that makes Chaeyeon happy?
Hazy words like "Cheer up" or "I support you" are good too, but I also like truthful and straightforward words. As an example, there are times the members would go 'Why does it look cool when that unnie does it?' or 'Why do things like that look cool too?'. They say that to the things I do randomly out of the blue, or for the laughs. I don't know what to do since they suddenly compliment that I'm cool. I feel proud too. I laugh at ease during times like that, because of them.

What is IZ*ONE to Chaeyeon? What kind of word would describe your feelings?
It's 'blanket'. It feels like the members are always snugly embracing me.

Please deliver a cozy Christmas message to WIZ*ONEs.
I especially remember the things that happened on Christmas well. When I found the letter I sent to Santa Claus in my mom's drawer, even the Christmas we spent with WIZ*ONEs, I remember it all. I remember AWCWI (A Warm Christmas With IZ*ONE) the most. I want to spend this year's Christmas warmly with WIZ*ONEs too.
