1. Please tell us your motivation in joining 'PRODUCE 48'.
I wanted to participate because I didn't have confidence in myself!

2. In IZ*ONE, what do you think you are the best at?
My quality in continuously working hard in order to achieve my goal.

3. If you were to compare yourself to an animal? And the reason?
An ant. Just like how they move around to gather food, I never stop working hard.

4. What do the members think of Chaeyeon?
(Wonyoung) She always goes around asking the members "Are you okay?", and makes breakfast for us.
(Sakura) The best dancer in IZ*ONE, and she is also a very caring person. She makes food for us and treats us kindly.
(Yuri) She is the 'Dance Captain'. She elevates the quality of IZ*ONE's dances!

What does Chaeyeon think of this member?

Chaeyeon about Wonyoung: She has a great style! She truly expresses her cuteness and charms really well as the center of the group.

Chaeyeon about Sakura: She works hard when it's time to work and she plays hard when it's time to play. There's a lot to learn from her and she's someone to admire.

Chaeyeon about Yuri: She listens to people's stories and concerns well. She has a nice personality, so even when she gets angry, it goes away quicky.

- Group interview (Lee Chaeyeon excerpt) -

There were four big battles during the broadcast which resulted a change in the rankings.
Chaeyeon: I didn't have much confidence in myself, so I firstly kept doing my best in order to find my own charms.

What was the most memorable stage/battle?
Chaeyeon: When I was the center for 'We Together' during our 'Debut Evaluation'. At first, I wasn't able to raise my hand during the center selection because I thought that the standard of a center should be based on both visual and confidence. But with the thoughts of "What will happen if I just end it like this without challenging myself, won't I regret it later?", courage, and a little greed, I decided to run for the center position. I think it's perhaps how I could internally develope myself with that.

Chaeyeon seems to speak Japanese well enough to answer the interview without an interpreter.
Chaeyeon: I studied Japanese. But my personal goal is to master Japanese. I want to do better. (Laughs)
Sakura: Chaeyeon is a really precious person. It would've been tough if she isn't with me/us.
Chaeyeon: However, the members are all friendly, kind, and warm-hearted which is a huge reason that our distance is reduced.

A difficulty when it comes to recording in Japanese?
Chaeyeon: I asked the Japanese members about the meaning of the song and was consulted on what would be a good way to express a certain part.

What is IZ*ONE's goal in the future?
Chaeyeon: I want us to keep relying on each other in the future just the way we are now, discuss and sort out our concerns together, and continue being on stage with everyone.
